This is an immersive media art project that has breathed life into the 'Piera Steps,' a landmark of the Guryongpo Japanese House Street in Pohang. Moving beyond a simple nightscape installation, this public media art project utilizes light and video to deliver a grand, three-themed narrative: the historical background of Guryongpo (reclamation and tears), the joy of liberation (Chunghongak and camellias), and a flight toward the future (the nine dragons). To overcome the topographical limitations of the sloped staircase, we applied an anamorphic technique that creates a three-dimensional effect from a specific viewpoint and executed precise projection mapping, delivering an overwhelming and distortion-free visual immersion.
